It has ready plugins for WooCommerce, Shopify and others, plus payment links. It says it is Central Bank approved, and it pays out to your bank account two days after a payment.

Payments.lk

Payments.lk comes from Payable. It has no setup or monthly fee, low published card fees and LankaQR at 0.99%. It offers checkout links, QR codes, pay buttons and an API, but its website does not mention ready plugins for WooCommerce or Shopify.

WEBXPAY

WEBXPAY accepts cards and popular wallets such as FriMi, mCash and eZ Cash, and offers instalment plans. It pays out the next day for rupee payments. Its larger plans are built for stores selling Rs 10 million or more a month.

Onepay

Onepay, by Spemai, offers online payments, recurring billing and LankaQR at 1%. There is a Rs 1,500 setup fee after your documents are approved. Ask them for the card rate on each plan.

How to choose

  • Starting out: choose a plan with no monthly fee, such as PayHere Lite or Payments.lk.
  • Using WooCommerce or Shopify: make sure there is a ready plugin for your platform.
  • Selling more each month: compare the lower rates on paid plans.
  • Cash flow matters: check how fast each gateway pays you.
